Beta today was in the 1900s (still where we wanted it to be). TH asked why it varied so much from what we got yesterday, and she said it was because of how their machines are calibrated. (I silently cursed him for confessing to the evil nurses!) I do know that labs vary, but a 500 pt (20%) difference? This makes me think that their machines just run conservative, and I've been sweating HCG numbers for nothing.
